How to blowup your digital photos the right way

I came across blowup from Alienskin gave it a try and its ok. I have a lot of 3mp photos and for some things it would have been better if they were 4mp or so although I have had excellent A4 prints out of 3mp images. In any case if you happen to have some old 2mp or 3mp and would like to print something larger then A4 you should try AlienSkin (blowup), you can use it for 30 days as a tryout. One thing to bear in mind is that you should not try and increase image size 100%, go for 20%-35% and you will get decent results.

What is cool about the hack is that it doesn’t permanently replace your firmware so you can roll back whenever you want, it can even run of an SD card. Exciting isnt it? Just imagine that your little Point-and-Shoot is suddenly capable of taking RAW images? or adding some functionalities that exist only in upper level cameras, and all for free. Yeah, just like free beer. It is an open source project.
